To all the people of San Salvador Atenco.

In the name of the International Civil Commission for Human Rights Observation, we want to thank you for having us and giving us your testimonies. You are the heart and soul from which we will construct our report, who's point is, above all, make known the harsh experiences you all have had to suffer.

We have learned of the individual and collective effects of the grave Human Rights violations that you all have suffered and we commit to making them known in our countries. We will hand the report to you as soon as possible with our conclusions and recommendations that will be derived from the testimonies and formal complaints we have been receiving. Each person and family we have interviewed will get a copy.

We ask you to excuse us for any discomfort we may have caused and we underline our commitment to the truth being known and justice being done.

We are open to continue maintaining a relationship with you all, to receive the testimonies that may be still to come, as well as all comments and opinions. We encourage you to do so and you will receive a response on our parts.

Sincerely

Ignacio García García
